On a rainy day, the traffic lights transcend function. Thrown out of focus, their saturated jewel tones become circles of colored light arranged in ever-changing abstract compositions.
Was this what Jimi Hendrix saw when he wrote “the traffic lights they turn up blue tommorrow” in Wind Cries Mary? Thats the story I’m going with. Thanks T.
Who knew traffic lights could be so pretty. I really like the colors going from a bold red and green to the washed out colors. This would make a great photo enlarged and hung in a room that needed a little pop of color.
