My 200th photo of this year’s 365 project is a celebration of celery.
Rather, it is a celebration of extraordinary beauty found in ordinary places, of the masterpiece that is fresh, locally grown organic produce, of the profound joy of looking closely at things to really see them, of finding ways to pay homage to the art history I studied so passionately and love so dearly. In short, this is a perfect picture for today’s milestone.
It’s the most gorgeous celery I have ever laid eyes on – completely different from the pale specimens you find at the grocery store. Heartland-grown, full-leafed, deeply green, and bold in both aroma and flavor – this is celery to make you sit up and take notice.
Beautiful, I did take notice!!
