I grew up singing ‘How much is that doggie in the window?” and wanting to buy every one I saw. I’m not sure that puppies in windows even exist these days – a good thing, no doubt. But I can’t wait to find the one with just the right waggly tail.
And I do hope that dog is for sale.
Hi Terra,
That is a great shot, and I love your caption! They remind me of ceramic doggies my great grandma had that now my Grandma and Mom have. 🙂 There are puppies still for sale in windows in Vermillion, SD. Not sure if it was a good thing or not.

My grandmothers (and great-grandmothers) had lots of ceramic figures, too! Not sure about dogs but one of my great-grandmothers had a large collection of salt & pepper shakers – some really wild ones. Definitely nostalgic.
