225/365: self portrait, floatzilla tattoo

We had a fantastic weekend with college friends in the Quad Cities and took part in the River Action Floatzilla down the Mississippi River. There were a lot of great shots I missed because I was too afraid to bring my camera in the canoe. Anyway, I was busy paddling, looking at pelicans, and frolicking around in the waves. And, while I didn’t get any pics, I did get this souvenir and plenty of memories.

Day two of the rainbow colors theme. Yesterday it was -20 something windchill so I could only stay out for a short time. It was like a scavenger hunt with the clock ticking down…just enough time to spy with my little eye. Or the other way round.

Today: Orange.
