One of those irresistible subject combinations – leaves and water. I always feel blessed to have my camera in hand and to be paying attention to what’s underfoot when something like this comes along.

Like many photographers, I have certain things that I always snap a shot of when I come across them. Fountains are one. Weird self portraits are another. Yesterday, I decided that I should add disco balls to the list (based on this favorite shot from 2010). I especially love the juxtaposition of the disco ball with something unexpected, such as trees.
