I noticed this chandelier reflection while preparing for our daughter’s birthday party and took a few shots at the end of the evening. It was only later, looking at the photos, that I saw the allusion to birthday candles.

I just rewrote this post since it seemed a little confusing. Yes, it’s the reflection of our dining room chandelier in the glass of a picture frame that holds vintage French postcards. The low light and sepia tone of the postcard give it the golden glow. I didn’t think of the birthday candle connection until I spotted this single “flame”.
